Just wondering if it's possible to remove background noise from a vocal wav sample?
The voice in question is Morgan Freeman and the wav is at the following link.

JUST REPLACED THE LINK:
http://www.moviesoundclips.net/sound.php?id=79 (it's the file called 'Narrator')

Any advice on how to about this and/or anyone out there willing to do it for a small fee? My main difficulty is towards the end where the bacground noise swells...

Thanks

There are FFT based noise reduction apps that can do a lot. They work best on non-random noise, and you need a sample a second or so in length of the noise itself for the program to develop a noise print to subtract from the desired signal.

"Audacity" can do the trick. Well, I've heard of that... Cuz' I've tried something and nobody turned out as I planned. Well, that's maybe because of me :D Try "Audacity".
