? Recording with a Toshiba Satellite A305

Is there anyone on here using a Toshiba Satellite A305 for recording? I am using an A305 running Vista Home Premium 64 and would love to hear from others using this (or similar) machine. Thanks, Dave

I have a Toshiba L305D..IT SUCKS! With Vista, I can't monitor my input signal as I could on the old machine.. You have any experience with this?
 
I use the A305 and it works just fine, 64 bit premium. As long as I don't use the stock driver, I get minimal latency. Overall its a great computer...wow this is an old thread!
