Hi there...
I am pretty new, not native english speaker so please show mercy for my crappy lang..

I just found this site, and had to register... Beeing a fanatic musician in trance, dance, etc... most willing to improve my recording-techniques i am most happy to find a "free" forum with others of same mind..

Unfortunatley i could not find a topic that did match my problems.. So i found it best placed here.. May admin repleace this thread..

Long Introduction..

I would like to know about the commen tipps & tricks of recording trance...
By that i mean, what instuments/plugins are taken. Especially what kind of technique (maybe putting a "rosa rauschen"(dont now what it means in english) under the bassdrum to give it a deeper sound), etc...)

Maybe anyone has some links in petto??
Maybe you can tell me what i do wrong in my titles of that style??

The link is not supposed to be advertisement, rather ask for help...

I use softsynths and plugs only, got a 24/96 audiophile-card, athlon fx2 DC 4200, 4GB-DDR2RAM,winXP, SX3

I hope my english is enough to myself understandable.. :(

Mit freundlichen Grüßen...(Thank you)

You might have a little better luck in the Keyboard forum.

True that. Unfortunately there are no "common tips and tricks" to recommend. Electronic music is incredibly diverse, and even when you pick a subgenre like trance, there's so much that can happen. Here's a link that might help: Remixing Hotshots.

Thank you very much so far...

Is there any book that is recommendable in this matter??

I mean some insight from the "Big ones"??
