Recording procedure

Playing all music part through vsti & also using loops for accompaniment / rethym etc. Recording live only voice.
On preparing all music/rethym tracks mixing with filtered vocal track.
Then balancing /equalizing & mixing.
Is my way of working is correct?
If wrong please let me know correct procedure.

well i suppose that would be an approximation of how you could do it... but instead... relax smoke a bowl and chill... dont be in too much of a hurry for enlightenment... most of us have been accumulting info for years and it will most likely take you similar timeframe to master it all...
