When recording a concert with my stereo mic ECM-MS907 connected to a MZ-R91, where should I place the mic? I have seen people haveing there mic placed inside there "headband". Any one who has experience with recording concerts with this mic?

I had a friend who recorded with one of those. depending on the circumstances he either placed it on a table or had a microphone stand that he used.

The folks that have the mics clipped to their headband are using a different sort of mic called a binaural pair. They are particularly popular with persons making unauthorized personal tapes of concerts. I definitly would not suggest trying to put the ECM-MS907 on a headband.

If you're planning on using this mic for "bootlegging" the best thing you can do is see if you can take a mic stand in.

I use this mic to record shows as well, and simply take a mic stand and place the mic as high above the crowd as I can. I get great results.
