hey guys I am getting a new computer and also a new Hard Drive and i want it to be really Quiet ...anybody knows good ones for about 150$? about 40GB?

The Seagate ST340016A is as nice quiet 7200 RPM drive.
Around $150 for a 40GB.

I am not sure about which HDs are considered "quiet" but there are HD silent drive enclosures for about $30-40. Check out the is link to quietpc.com

The IBM Deskstar 120GXP is a very quiet drive also.

IBM or Seagate.
I've never had a problem in terms of noise with the Deskstars. I own 6 of them and they are extremely quiet. I bought one of the Seagates when I was in a jam for a HD and was pleasantly surprised that these drives are also pretty quiet. I was fairly reluctant to by the drive since the last Seagate I owned sounded like a box of rocks anytime the the read/write head started moving.
