When I started to use this piece of software this afternoon I noticed that when I plugged in my guitar and played there was noticable latency. Maybe just under a second or so but enough to make playing my guitar almost impossible. I switched off a feature just by messing around called "Software Monitoring". The latency disappeared. The sound came through instantaneously. hurrah.
I was just wondering.. why have that software monitoring button? What is "software monitoring " anyway? The manual says somethign about seen as monitoring is processd internally a delay is to be expected.... Is there any reason should keep this on?
Also how the heck do you get FX to work on a track? I cant work out how to put any kind of reverb etc on my DId guitar. The manual's explanation is poor. Can I only add fx in this prog after I have recorded the part?
