Ok, I've finally decided what soundcard I'm going to get....I figure I was going to get the Echo Mia. While surfing through some old posts here on the Mia I came across a post about Mia's compatibility with chipsets. I got a Pentium II 350mhz with 192 MB Ram (I'm sure I sound like a broken record for announcing my system specs so many times LOL). Here's what I've seen regarding Mia and chipsets: "Intel or VIA KX133, VIA KT133, or AMD 760 chipset." Do I really have to worry about compatibility? Will the Mia work on my setup? My assumption is that since I got an Intel Pentium processor it'd do ok, but again that's only an assumption. What exactly is a chipset anyways?

Intel are usually the most compatible. The chipset is just that: the group of chips that are the "brains" of the computer (the CPU and the group of chips that handle all information going in and out of it.)

I'm running a 450Mhz Gateway PII with the Mia and an SBLive and it works great.
