hey!
My equipment:
Cable: the sssnake SM6BK
Microphone: the t.bone SC 450
Soundcard: M-Audio Fast Track MKII
Software: Sequel 3

My Problem:
When I've recorded vocals and guitar I'm copying the recording - so I have two tracks.
Then I want to pan the other to the right speaker/headphone and the other to the right.
But when I'm dragging the pan to the right the sound disapear. So now when I post
my tracks to youtube people are complaing that they only hear from the left speaker.
Which means it's a MONO-track right? Anyone know how I can fix this?

I heard that if you create a new empty slot and copy the track onto it - it will become stereo,
but that's not working.

I am the biggest noob, but I'm trying to learn. Any help would mean a lot :)

Copying something then panning the original to one side and the copy to the other, is exactly the same as just leaving it alone, apart from being louder, of course.

You're not making it stereo, you're making it play out of both speakers, which is what it did in the first place.

Just leave it alone. :)

Copying your post into multiple forums, also results in redundancy. :(

It's cool man, you are not the first. Hopefully someone will get you an answer quickly. :)

Sounds like you do not have a stereo output bus activated..

I have, in the settings there's "output selector" and I have "stereo out"

Ah, ok. What Jim said.

You need to set up your track or session so that it's outputting to L+R, or 1+2; A stereo output.

If your output is set to L, or 1, then panning and doubling and whatever else won't work.

Then record to a mono track when recording a mono source. Anything other than something like a stereo keyboard, or CD player, is a mono source. Guitar, vocals.....all one single source.

Okey, I don't really know how to change the settings to that, but I'll try tomorrow. Thanks!
