Hi all,

I am risking to ask a maybe very stupid question regarding the POD. Maybe I'll get flamed or accused of not reading my manual properly or asking something that has been allready asked, or just being a lame idiot. But here we go:

The fact is I am still confused about the POD and its Stereo-output. When does this Stereo matter? I mean, there isn't a Stereo delay in the POD, is there? Or is it only used by other effects, like maybe the chorus?

Or what with that amp modelling: when recording with my POD on a stereo track I noticed some amp models give exact the same signal in your left and right channel, other give a slightly different signal, a stereo field. How come? Is this only with the simulation of amps with multiple speakers or what?

The POD manual doesn't help me that much with this it seems. It may be very funny and helpful on some ways, but I am really confused by this.

Can any POD expert give me some clarity in this?

Coem on guys, isn't there anyone who has something to say about this? Or doens't anybody know exactely?

I just spent 10 minutes with the POD to figure out an answer for you: Every amp model is mono, no stereo here, the only stereo stuff is happening with the reverb and chorus/modulation fx

Hey Neve

Thx for taking the time to investigate it. I think it was the reverb that actually gave me the stereo image that confused me.

I always use stereo outs from the POD pro. I think all effects are in stereo( I think I am positive). For one you can listen to it using your stereo headphones..and not the monitoring speakers. You can clearly identify the stereo effects.

Also after recording it to your music sofware, look at the difference between the upper and lower(left/right) waveforms. They should be different if they are stereo.

Let me know what you find :D
