While not in a home anymore, our new place is still very much a DIY studio.

We were in a '30s era Victorian that we had gutted and turned into a nice project room in Oceanside Ca. but with skyrocketing property values(we're 3 blocks from the beach) the landlord pulled the verbal lease ot from under us.
We found a great old commercial building 3 blocks away (made it alot easier to transport all that sand and salvaged lumber to the new room)
i'ts about 1800 sq ft with a 600 sq ft apartment on top.
I've been getting some really great advice here at Homerecording and look forward to any input ,advice or questions while we dive into this new room.
we're hoping for a late Feb opening.
