Sorry, they don't. Just the 2-ch. Wish they did though!
My theory behind saying I'd go for the Pheonix Audio GTQ2 is that you originally said you wanted a 1073-type (with EQ). While Dan Kennedy had the 1073 and Fletcher's "character mod" ideas in the back of his mind while designing the Great River NV, and while the NV certainly has 1073 characteristics, I'm not sure if the NV is 1073-like in overall tone. From what I've read, it's not.
When you first asked, the first thing that came to mind was
the GTQ2... While still only "based" on the 1073, I like how Geoff Tanner put it... And I paraphase: Phoenix Audio is a bunch of ex-Neve employees. We like to thing we've picked-up where Neve left-off. So while the GTQ2 is certainly it's own design, we feel we've done just that with and letting our gear show their obvious hertiage themselves.
So, as is with the GTQ2 and 1073. Of course, the same thing can be said for the NV and 1073... So what am I'm talking about, I don't know...
Plus, you also originally said you wanted EQ. Well the GTQ2 does... Of course, you an add any EQ you wanted to the NV... So what am I talking about again, I don't know...
But they're both same price... There's a difference...
But what am I talking about again... They're BOTH damn top-notch preamps!
Any more confused than before? Sorry.
