Hey guys,

I want to ad a effect to my one song. it's that effect that sounds as if your song is lagging or has scratches, u know what i'm talking about ??

where can i get it, or how do i get that sound FX ?

okay so either none of u know what i'm talking about,,,, or u cant help me out ?

Need more info. Are you tracking, and trying to get a live effect on your performance? If you're tracking, you need to tweak your drivers or adjust some buffer settings or something to get latency as low as possible. That can be very difficult if your hardware isn't 1/2 way current. And you'll ALWAYS have latency anyway, you can't completely get rid of it. You can possibly get it down to a negligible level.

Or are you mixing into a track that's already recorded? If you're mixing, then your PC simply can't keep up with processing the track and plugin in real time. Your PC simple can't keep up. Are you recording at 44.1/24? If you're sampling at 96k+, then maybe your PC's hard drive i/o can't keep up, record at 44.1/24 from now on. Any DAW will let you render the track with fx as a new track, then your PC won't have to process the track and plugin every time while playing the song back. You'll have to cut whatever your bottleneck is.

hey SS not sure but it sounds like he wants to add pops and clicks and maybe some wow and flutter type aged FX the kinda thing most of us avoid... not sure where to send him... maybe KVR??? lotsa user programmed oddities there???

Are you refering to the enitre track or just the end piece?

It actually just sounds to me like the track is eq'd a lot with some reverb and distortion and the end bit is just a short sample of the clip that is looped. Try selecting a very small piece of your clip (like 100ms) and looping it say 5 or 6 times, and then let the rest of the track carry on.

Don't know of a plugin that does it, but im sure there is one somewhere out there that does something similar - but on this track its very specific.
