Wooden golf drivers

Wooden Tennis rackets

People love retro now. Look at how vinyl and turntables have come back... even cassette decks.

With modern technology old formats can be updated and brought into the modern world. There are companies making large wooden golf drivers that are as good as the metal ones and have a better feel and workability.

I went to a big store today and all the audio styling was doffing a hat to the 60s and 70s..

You see those big gaming machines now that are lovely units in a glass fronted case with all of the machinery shown and the drives rotating, they are a thing of beauty 😊

So all is good. We have tech with old fashioned style 🥰🥰

My 16 year old nephew came into my man room and said.... wow, Uncle Stephen, you have an Atari!

If I ever have a child I’m going to give him/her old games to start out with and make them work their way up to modern games so they can appreciate the change with each incremental step.

I always said that our lad wouldn't be able to play computer games unless he had written them himself. So that's exactly what he did! Now he can tell you exactly how to make a platformer like Super Mario or talk about the finer points of 3D raycasting.
