Oktava MK-012K

I had been thinking about getting a pair of MK-012 with the interchangeable capsules... but am having a hard time finding them. Musician's Friend is showing this mic, and several other Oktava models as discontinued. I found Harvey's review of this mic here:

Apparently you can put a Neumann M1 head on this mic with good results

If anyone has any information, thanks in advance.

I have to mostly concur with C7 on this one. The MC012 should be available at Guitar Center, but "listen to it first". That's where I would probably go for one mic. If you want a pair, suck it up and call Taylor Johnson at The Sound Room. I bought a pair from him, and they are workhorse mics for coincedent (X-Y) and MS stereo recording.-Richie
