Hey there,
I can't find a Nuendo forum, but it's fundamentally the same, so I'm hoping this is the right place for this thread?
I've got a final project recorded & mixed, but I'm wanting to add a few effects to some audio parts - namely, delay.
As we all know, delay / reverb will add modulation on an audio track for X milliseconds after the fact... now, I'm trying to apply a delay plugin to a specific event (right click the event, Plug-Ins -> Delay etc), but unfortunately it's right at the end of the recording, so the audio track cuts out WELL before the delay has finished it's repeats...
I've figured out that I can use automation (switch the effect on for that bit, then off when I'm done with it), but I'm also aware that this won't be an option in the future... like when I need to put an effect on a track that's got events close together, when one needs the effect and another doesn't).
My question is - how do I expand the LENGTH of the particular event so it will allow me to finish the offline plugin processing for that event only? Basically I want a blank wav file to write to with nuendo... and I'm SURE there must be a way in Nuendo, rather than having to pull the WAV file into another editor and lengthen it...
Cheers in advance for any help
