Noooooooooooooo!!!

I just found out I had a white noise problem!!!

I have a Pentium IV 1,5 Ghz with a SoundBlaster Audigy Platinum. My speaker system is a Altec Lansing ATP-3.

HELP!!!

(If you need other info to help me, ask and I will tell you)

(yeah, a description of the problem might get some help)

Well...

Well... It is like when it's 'snowing' on the TV screen. I get the same sound as that but not as loud.

I don't know why it is there but I want to remove it...

Peace,
Beathoven

its ur cheap ass sound card...sound blaster are still not quite there for pro recording, though the audigy is decent for that price range

No white noise

I have had the white noise problem in the past. I found mine to also be my sound card, though I would prefer to be more tactful than your last reply. I recently built a totally new machine up from parts and purchases. In it, I paid careful attention to wire routing and type. But most importantly, I bought the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz card. I have used a lot of cards and my company manufactures sound chips that were on a lot of better sound cards, but I have never heard a card as good as the TB SC. It is dead quiet and the music output is fantastic. It has a built-in 400 MIPS DSP for effects and real-time filtering. It works extremely well. IT was only $79.95 at their website and at my local computer store. Check it out. Compared to the price of everything else you have in your system, this is a cheap investment to get the best quality sound.

Thanks,

Harley
