Just scored what I think to be a good deal.

1994 Fender P-bass Lyte, MIJ for $225 shipped.

w/
Gotoh tuners
EMG PJ pickup config (active)
graphite nut

I know the EMG pups are not stock, but what about the tuners and nut? Does anyone have experience with these basses?

I know they are light(duh), and the necks are even more slim than a jazz bass neck.

I'm thinking of replacing the EMG P pickups with the Seymour Duncan QPs, and maybe leaving the EMG on the bridge.

Think this was a good deal?

Those are nice!

Congrats, man! I remember that I almost bought one of those one time. Sweet little basses, from what I can recall. I LOVED the feel of 'em. I know lots of people who gigged a lot with them, and seemed quite satisfied with them, also.

Don't have a lot of technical information for you though. Are you sure the EMGs aren't stock? Those basses WERE sold in an active configuration, but I don't remember where the pups came from. Could have been EMG, though.

Tried one 10 or 15 years ago (candy apple red/gold hardware) and loved the light feel. Never found one again, so congratulations!

Yep, great deal on a good bass! Came close to buying one with a natural mahogany body a couple of years ago. The Photo Flame is pretty cool though. It's basically a picture of the flamed finish that is applied to the guitar, and then has a clear finish sprayed over it. The one I saw also had EMG's in it so they may be the stock pups. Enjoy it! :D
