Need/transferring files via light pipe to puter from HD24

a way to get my HD24 files into the puter via light pipes.
Need a card?
not up on this stuff anymore.
I NEED HELP
 
You need an interface with 24 channels of light pipe inputs. It might be cheaper to send a safe copy of your disc to someone for that kind of transfer. Me, for instance. I do transfer and retrieval work for a variety of digital and analog formats. PM me if interested.
 
have to do it myself, I might buy the firewire alesis puts out for this. As for now I can go the ethernet route which is a bit slow, but doable.
 
After the piss-poor support I got from Alesis when I needed help with my HD24, I'll not buy another thing with their name on it. I'd advise doing the ethernet transfer if this is a one-shot deal.
