Hi, i've been producing breakbeats for roughly a year now. I have a little home studio set up but to limited capability. I have a sufficient computer with Reason 3.0 (i also have cubase but dont know what the heel to do with it). I use software to record, and reason as my sequencer. I also have a Roland Jp-8000 as my hardware controller. But lets say for a second I had nothing and was starting from the begininning. What would anyone recomend for producing breakbeats. Whats sequencer/hardware/anything else taht would apply would you recomend?

What's your budget? How much are you willing to spend on the software?

Can I ask A DUMB question?

WHat is the Definition of a "Break Beat"?
I listen to "The Crystal Method" and thats how they describe them allot ate the "Break Beat Masters"......
For all I know i have made some break beats and not know it.

Thanks

Why did you buy cubase if you don't know what to do with it. Cubase is a wonderful program that rivals pro tools, cakewalk and others. You can record to it, play virtual intruments thru it or even master what you've done so far thru it. Again why did you buy it if you don't know what it does.
