could someone please check the pictures of these amps on ebay. I emailed them asking them if they were sure this was a VT22 because vintage VT22s were combos and came stock with 7027A power output tubes.
The emailed me back saying, am I blind it is right there to see on the amp. I emailed them back and said "with all due respect, the pictures are horrible and you cant read anything, and I can see all your store pictures ect just fine".
Here is their response.
"I didn't know that we were having an art class critique. You're the first to bring this up. In fact we've had a couple customer email to compliment on how good the amp looks. It must be a problem with your broswer or you just might be expecting too much from internet pictures.
I looked at another amp they had for sale and the pictures are the same way.
I emailed them back and said "I am only trying to help out here, your sarcastic response has been duly noted. I have been in the music buisness over forty years and when I tell you an Ampeg VT22 only came in a combo and with 7027A tubes I know what I am talking about. Either it is not a VT22 or it has been modified any you are ignorant or outright lying when you say it is a vintage VT22. I am going to ask a few fellow musicians to take a look at your pictures."
So here is the link to the pictures of the two amps, tell me what you see.
