i will make some changes in my bedroom, where i pratice/record with my band, and i wanted to get some help cuz i dont know much about acoustic and stuff...

first of all..... i will buy those waved plaques of "sponje" u know what i mean? i dont know how to spell it but i think u guys know what im talking about, those plaques that covers the studio walls to avoid reverd and to isolate the sound and stuff...

well my first question is.... should i put that ALL AROUND my walls??? i mean.... is it 'the more the better' ? or i should put it on the walls and maybe leave the floor without a carpet and stuff to "balance" the reverd and dont over-isolate the sound and stuff, cuz once i was told it wouldnt be so good to have a FULL isolated room without ANY reverbs from the walls and stuff, i dont know, plz help!

oops.

Well you dont want to go overboard with the foam. Just as having a room be to (live) is bad, so is having a room too (dead). I find that I use my foam more for controlling outside sounds rather than reverb control in the room. I live in a quiet neighboor hood but I still get the sounds of cars and kids going by. So I suggest balance. Do a little bit at a time.
