Hi guys,
I got a projectmix i/o early for Christmas. I had it all set up and connected via firewire to my pc. Using Sonar 6.0 producer edition. It worked great, no problems and then the driver somehow got blown out.
So I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver, but it seems to think it has been installed already. It does not load the control panel, nor does the pc seem to see the connection with the PMIO.
I tried deleting everything with m-audio in the registry, then reinstalling but to no avail. It's the drivers aren't even there. I have also downloaded the latest drivers and tried that.
I thought maybe there was something wrong with my Firewire adapater, (3 in one socket) but my external hard drive works in all three ports.
So I got a new toy for Christmas, and a Monster 3500 power conditioner (my wife is awesome) and now I can't even play with it as tech support is gone until after Christmas and I start working full time again.
Anybody else have this problem and perhaps have some ideas how I can fix it. This sucks! Thanks for your help. Happy Holidays everyone!
Thanks,
Thayne
