I would guess that any old bass amp can be used for keyboards too but I just want some options from you guys. At this point, it doesn't matter how much the amp is. I just need some choices to choose from. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

You could use a bass amp. But unless your keys are strictly for bass related material, you'll want either a dedicated keyboard amp or PA. They'll offer much better full range capibilities. Check the Roland KC or Peavey KB/A lines both are decent and come in a variety of sizes depending on your needs. One thing to consider is that with a dedicated PA you can retain stereo Imaging (Or 2 dedicated keyboard amps will). But if you need a little more thunder-down-under, then by all means grab a bass amp, but you should be able to at least find a deidicated amp to meet your needs within the same price range as bass-amp. And if you get a 15" model you'll be able to reproduce frequencies almost as low as bass amp (anything lower than what these amps can produce usually warrants the purchase of sub add-on anyways.)

One option should be that you might look for a bass combo fitted with a 15' AND a HF horn.
There are alot of good brands out there (Glockenklang,Epifani,Aguilar, etc) so your wallet is the limit. :)
One more thing, though:try avoiding cabs fitted with piezo HF drivers. They sound like hell, even for a keyboard player...or,especially for him!
HTH,

it really depends on your style of music and what kinda keyboard your using. I use a synth for a lot of indie rock stuff and wierd hardcore stuff. I use my bass stack, a peavy firebass 700 running through an avatar 2x12 and you can get some really good volume. If you're just jamming at your house, or you play for a church or something, then you should check out roland keyboard amps. They have always seemed to be the best for me. And, if you really want to, you can just go to avatar speakers.com and pick out what you need. 2 10 inch speakers? there you go, nice and cheap. If you put those on top of a 1x15, you'll be set. that'll cover your lows to your highs. As for a head, you could just use a cheap power amp and a sans amp bass driver, or some preamp of your choice. OR go buy a cheap head, like an ashdown, which is quality, and you'll get the full frequency spectrum out of your keyboard. Just define what kinda stuff/equipment your using it for.
