Need bridge to fit tele w/bigsby

what bridge can I use on a tele with a bigsby, ie, strings do not come through body as in regular tele? dont want to use the standard telecaster plate. :)

Doesn't the Bigsby have all it's own hardware? The strings go over a set of saddles and hook on to the Bigsby, no?

Hmmmm....mine has six pins on the bar that the arm is hooked to, and the balls on the strings slip over them. You wrap the strings over the top of the bar, if you know what I mean.

then they go under the front bar then over the bridge, otherwise you would have no adjustment for height or intonation.

Yeah, that's how mine goes. I'm assuming it's how it is supposed to be, I just got it, it came like that. :p

I think so, I don't want to use the bigsby bridge. I may just design and build my own if I can't find what i want. I allready have a new design for a saddle I have been wanting to test.
 
That's cool, I didn't know you did that kind of thing.
