Hi,
I'm using a Digi 003 with Pro Tools. I also have Mytek stereo 192 AD converters. It's all connected up and working fine using a SPDIF cable from the MYtek unit to the SPDIF 'IN" on the Digi 003. So my question is.. when I plug a mic into the mic input on the Digi 003.. does that mean that the stock AD converters on the 003 are automatically bypassed for that signal? Or do I need to run some kind of output out of the 003 and into the XLR input on the back of the Mytek unit?
If so.. where do I run the output on the 003?
So basically.. I want to use the 003's mic pres but with Mytek AD converters instead of the 003's AD converters.
Hope that makes sense! Thanks for looking and I hope you have the answer!
Thanks.
