my C1 shockmount is tilted.

I noticed my shockmount's holder is tilted to the right a little. I tried to make it level by pulling the rubber a little but it seems difficult to do so.

I guess it doesn't really affect my recording, but would like to have my mic "standing" straight.

any advise?

You've come unhooked, just trace the band around and you'll find it.

Phil may be correct, one of the bands may have come unhooked from the frame. Just trace it out.

If this is not the case, we will be happy to exchange the mount to make sure you have a straight one, but I think it is just the band. Either way, just let us know at 1-877-563-6335

I did check and didn;t notice any unhook.... anyway, I'll check once more tonite.

if there's no unhook, would it help for me to take off the band and rehook it again?

Well I'm looking at one of mine right now and you could make it tilt some if the band tension isn't even all the way around. Also, on the top band, I think the band is intended to go over the grips rather than under so as to keep them from making any noise.
