Oh yea, forgot to say that you'll need to use headphones if you want to hear the full effect.

ahhhh....I love the sound of brand new strings, then mum walks in.
But it was a sincere apology, by the sounds of her!!! :)

Anyways...did you manage to get your stereo to stereo adaptor sorted mate?

Hey superspit :)

Nope, have to wait until tomorrow to get those adapters. :(

Thanks for listening though. :)

Wondering if anyone else noticed the binauralness of the recording? Should sound like she's really behind you when listening on headphones.

Kinda scary.

I don't have my headphone amp hooked up at the moment. I've had people walk in on recordings before and experienced the same thing you're talking about. It works with one mic also.

That's a funny clip!

There are plenty of examples of binaural recordings on the Net - some of them less than stellar, but some send goosebumps up your neck!

The dummy head must be an essential part of the pickup effect, since it closely equates to how the sound naturally reaches the ears, including all the reflections that occur around the contours of the face, ears, etc.

I don't have my headphones right here, but your mom sounds sweet :)

She is until she gets pissed off. :o

I'm hoping someone else can tell me if they think it sounds binaural, or if it's just the headphones I'm using that pronounce the effect.

I listened on a different pair of headphones and the effect wasn't nearly as noticeable. :(

But on the MoreMe's it's very obvious and really sounds like she's behind you. I showed it to my sister and she freaked.
