after 35 days of recording, my mic now makes a horrible clicking sound and can't even talk into it and doesn't pick up anything.

I can't find warranty info on it. So i guess i'm pretty fucked huh?

Any info is welcome!

Well did you put it up to anything with high spls? They say that you can damage the capsule if it's exposed to too much pressure (i.e., kick drum, screamin vocals, guitar amp)

I'd recommend doing a buy and return scam of some sort. =)

the out of warranty exchange program.

I left it on when we had band pratice, but i doubt we got up to volumes of 140dbs!

Well do a buy and return scam at Sam Ash or something. Oh wait, they don't sell those do they? And Mars has the no return policy on mics... hmm, anywhere else around carry them?

You could try doing it with Musiciansfriend.

I'll admit i did the "buy and return" scam once... it was on a pair of Sony 7506 headphones. Oddly enough, it was the Guitar Ctr salesman who suggested that i do it, as otherwise I probably wouldn't have even thought of it!

But, buy and return scam only works with products that don't have serial numbers and that still look like they are in "unused" condition. I'd check to see about serial numbers before trying anything sneaky.
