they go for $99 dollars in the US. Shreve audio sells them without the shock mount for $99.

Price on MXL V67

Actually, the V67 used to be much more expensive. MXL decided to lower the price down to around $99 USD about 3 months ago to have a very high quality competitive mic in this low price range.

I can only assume that this store doesn't know about the price drop, or bought a whole bunch of them at the higher price.

That being said, the MXL V67 is a very good sounding studio condenser mic for under $100. Hope this information helps.
