Hey folks,
This is a dumb-ass pop tune:D .....just needed to get it out of my system. It still needs a clean-up (fade ending, ect.), but i figured i would throw it up now to see what else needs work. My ears are burned out, so any help is always appreciated.

How can one not say WOW!! There's not much to comment on here other than how cool it is!


It might be cool to do a reverse fade in at the end and cutt it off like you have at the peak. Not sure what I'd use, Electric guitar most likely. I only say that cause it might make it seem more intentional. I would only add it behind what you have there now.

KramerThanks a million man. Yup, im a bass player. I can play guitar, but not like you hotshots.... Yeah, the vocs are doubled. I did something a little different this time..... not sure if i like it or not. A friend told me about using compression only on a cloned track for "meat". I take my main voc track, make a copy... then compress the shit out of the copy. ...eq it to fit in any hole that sounds right and... walla. Im not crazy about it, but its a hell of a lot less work than manual doubling. ...thanks for listening man.

FLGHey Rick.... my bass chain is pretty simple. The brunt of the bass in this was run direct to my board. I compressed it 4:1 with a fast attack. The bass chain in the "slap" section is the same with a touch of verb and a limiter. Thanks for listening man
