Hello all! I am new to the board and I must say, I am loving it so far. Well, here's the deal. I have Pro Tools with an M-audio 8 output USB interface. I want to mix through an analog mixer but would want to mix more than 8 tracks at a time. I've looked all over the internet for an interface with more than 8 outputs but can't seem to find any. Is there any way to mix a 16 track song (out of pro tools) via analog mixer?

well . . . there is one way that springs to mind . . .

you might like to have a look at the Allen & Heath Zed r16 firewire mixer:

16 channels out of the desk via firewire, and 16 channels back into the desk the same way, plus midi controls and other goodies.

Seehttp://www.allen-heath.co.uk/zed/zed-R16.asp

I like what I'm reading about this desk, and dying to have a go. My budget won't stretch that far, sadly; about $AUS6000

That's a nice board but Pro Tools needs DigiDesign/M-Audio hardware to run. So it won't work with your Pro Tools setup, unfortunately. :(
