Maybe just a little bit early but what the hell. I just whipped this together. It's not my arrangement, I heard it somewhere before and thought it was cool. Maybe this can start a little fad and we can cobble together a Home Wreckers Christmas album. It's Midnight Clear.
Merry Christmas!:D

Tracky that was VERY nice. Man.

Hey you know that's a pretty damn good idea about a Homerec Xmas album. I have 2 songs going back about 7 years that I recorded on my old Tascam porta07 that I could contribute. I did Silver Bells and a strange rendition of the Little Drummer Boy called Little Beat Boy I did with a cheesey Yamaha drum machine, but it's kind of cool. The Silver Bells song I did with a friend who died in a car accident a few months later. It still chokes me up to listen.

Nice job

Very Tasteful

I love Christmas Songs...........
They have a sort of magic about them

Thanks for putting this out

There ya go my friend. Put it up, I'd love to hear it. I thank you sir.:D

Very nice TR....what are you micing the gits with. They've got a bit of Oktava punchiness and sound, but with a bit more breath (that might be the verb).
I like this a lot man...I prefer Xmas tunes as instrumentals. Usually they've got some super cheesy singer doing 'em....hate that!
Nice job man....things are panned nicely, and levels are good...couple of harmonics were out of sync in the beginning, but no big deal. It's all white up here in Maine, so this tune is probably not too early here. In fact, some folks already got their decorating started.
Nice recording TR!

And Merry Christmas.

I'll catch it when I get home from work. And I'm getting ready to do 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' so that could be my contribution to the Christmas album.

Real pretty. I love Christmas songs as well. Nice full sound on the guits. Beautiful.

I toyed around with "O Holy Night" last year. My first recording as a matter of fact. Maybe I'll get some time and do it better this year.

Thanks for this one. Maybe we'll play it at home while we're putting up the tree.

jcmm-I really appriciate that sir.
SLuiCe- Are you ready for this. I was in a nostalgic mood. I used a C-3000 on the guitars and tracked this to a Tascam 238 8 track cassette multitracker. Why you ask?..........Hold on, I'm thinking. I guess to prove to myself I could still work without a net, ya know what I mean?
TripleM- I thank you sir. Definately do a tune. You too Lt. Like I said, I think it would be a hoot to have a Christmas tune from everybody. The world is getting so scary, this is just the distraction we need.
Toki- I really appriciate the props my friend.

HAHA...yes sir I believe I do :)

Very nice indeed. Extremely tasty guitar work. What kind of ax you using?
Ooooh.............nice ending............I really like the transition to the end.

I'll be playing this on my stereo for the holidays oh Master Rat! ;)
I like your idea..........

EVERYBODY LISTEN UP!
Have your Christmas song ready by Dec. 15th. That way everyone can have all the songs on a CD for the holidays. This is mandatory! :D As Misterque would say.

that was great..

I'm working on some Christmas music, and this was very inspiring..

it made me sad..

What can I say? Beautiful playing, beautiful recording.

Well I could say I hate your guts and I'm jealous as hell, but that wouldn't be very Christmassy, would it? :)

Nice work, TR.

Just about the last thing I would have envisioned myself listening to tonight but, I'm glad I expanded my visions, trashed my concept of expectation and clicked on your tune.

Very nice listen!! Lots O' feel and touch, textile and otherwise.......

I'm not at all a christmass dude per say but, the idea of a Home Rec collection sounds twistedly pleasing..........

Nice job on all fronts!!!

Peace,
Theron.

Keep em' coming boys,I'm looking forward to a homerecording christmas.
Very nice song,no lump of coal for you this Christmas!
Santa says you've been a very good boy!

Very nice indeed! Out here in Southern California there is a radio station that has already begun playing Christmas music 24/7...Crazy huh...especially since we haven't even got to Thanksgiving yet...

I love this rendition! Beautiful playing and a nice recording!

I also listened to Little Drummer Boy ... Another great one. You should put together a Christmas disk with just Acoustic guitar...It sounds great!

Happy Christmas!
