Samash.com has these LD condenser mics for $99 a pair. Has anyone tried them?

Actually they're giving them out free with every purchase of $300 or more and I just got one....as soon as my preamp which is on order arrives, ill let you know how good it is.

I have 2 of those. I've used them as overheads for drums and once on an acoustic guitar and they worked out decently.

Ok my preamp came so here's the deal: Sounded quite nice on acoustic guitar in my opinion, better than I expected considering the price. Of course you'll most likely want to EQ it a bit to make it sound just right, but it had that "guitar in your lap" type of feel when you listened to it. On vocals it wasn't as good, the tone just didn't sound right to me...of course it could be my fault I'm not very experienced with placing and working with condensers. Again, I suppose it would be acceptable if you eq'd it enough.
Verdict: I would buy something a bit better if I was seriously looking for a vocal and instrument mic and I had the choice but for free with a $300 purchase what the hey its a usable piece of gear for sure.

I have one. Nothing great, but does the trick for $50. For me, it gets the job done for the money it cost.
