Match Stereo Pair OKTAVA MC012 for sale!

Holy Hell......$575....would they have even cost that much brand new?? Or aren't they at least like $89 each if you buy them unmatched?? Is the case and the "matching really worth the extra $350+??

These were the 4 capsule versions not the 2 capsule versions you see at GC. In a nice wooden case and matched pairs. Yeah they where worth it. Also the GC 2 capsules are back up to $149 again since the Green tag sale is over.

Fuck the case. YES, the matching is worth it. I paid $454 at the Sound Room for a matched pair, cardioid only, and have never regretted it.-Richie

Guys,

Oktava mics from Guitar Center are not the same quality as Oktava mics from the Sound Room. SR stands behind their product, and for the 3 capsule version of the MC-012, it costs about $660. It is well worth it to get them for $575.

If you want to know any more about the history, please do a search in this forum for "Sound Room Oktava Guitar Center". You'll probably find about 100 threads on the topic.
