mastering software

hi everyone
some advice needed....I`m looking for a mastering program to use....prefer it were free though I know that will limit my options
I`m using cool edit pro 2 and windows

any suggestions

Paul -- don't let Blue Bear's sarcasm daunt you. He's actually a very sweet guy when he lets his toughness down -- and is one of the more experienced among us (hence his not-so-veiled smugness sometimes). There is a mixing/mastering section in this forum. Just go down a few. Great advice on there.

I posted it here cos I buggered it up...had to mic forum saved under favs,but I did post it in the mastering section immediately following this tragic error.
