Logic Hanging after Hardware Upgrade

I currently run Logic Audio Platinum 3.6 on the PC. I have just upgraded my PC with a new motherboard and processor so the rough specs are now as follows:

AMD Athalon 850MHz
256Mb RAM
IBM 45Gb ATA100 Hard Drive
Voodoo3 Video Card
emagic Audiowerk8 Soundcard
Korg 1212I/O Soundcard
Soundblaster (used just for MIDI)

Before the upgrade everything was working until you got up to about 18-20 tracks audio recorded, at which point I would start to get audio glitches during playback and the time counter wouldn't be at all smooth. You also couldn't swap between views while the audio was playing back or one of the cards would just drop out with an overload message.

After the upgrade the all of the above were fixed. No glitches, smooth counter, screen switching while playing, loads of plugins loaded at once - everything seemed great.

Two days later I went to use the PC for a session. Half way through playing the first track Logic hung, looping the last second of audio over and over again until the PC was turned off. This now happens every 15 minutes or so. I am guessing it is hardware related as I have changed nothing to do with the software. Any ideas what is causing this?

i don't have a clue what the problem is....do you have the latest drivers for your soundcards? are you running any background applications? have you checked for irq conflicts? are you using any usb devices? do any of the soundcard manufacturers list issues with the chipset on your mainbord?
