search under my name for lots of affordable solutions ive posted over the past year. then feel free to ask q's and i'll gladly answer.
frankly if were me i dont buy proprietary interfaces like the omega.
ive done that in the past and had problems getting service.
particularly hi tech being what it is, this stuff gets obsolete so quickly.
as i'm a puter engr i dont like usb either. many folks seem to have probs with it. i feel it needs to mature more.
if were me i would choose a pci audio interface like a delta that a lot of folks seem happy with. do you have a mixer ? mics ? software ?
 
ive got mics and s/w from an older setup i had.
i used to have the omni studio, used it with cool edit, but my set up got ganked.
