This post is just about a Dad and a his son, and his friends messing around.

just set up 2 mics, and captured some tracks.

This is just me posting that i am glad my kid has some intrest in music, besides XBox.

There not to good, but i am still happy they are trying

Awesome. I just played with a band last night that was a bunch of 15 year olds. Their parents drove them to the gig from across the state and were there right up front cheering their asses off. And the kids rocked far harder than I've ever been able to.:D
Did you have questions about the mix or just want some feedback? Cause if it's feedback, hey, awesome, sounds like y'all are having a great time. Keep it up - I wish my dad had sat around and jammed with me when I was first starting out.
Mix questions, if you really only have a couple of mics, just move those suckers around until it sounds good. That's the best way to start.

I'm glad to hear that there are other kids out there making music.

No not looking for mix tips, i know it's bad, just wanted to record them so they can figure out it out on there own.

As stated i am just glad their doing something other then being on XBOX.

Just being a proud dad thats all
 
Nice playing. I think it's great that you're doing this with your son. My son is actually the one who got me into recording. Have fun with it!
