Has anyone played both? Is there any difference other than the true bypass effects loop?

I have a 2205 and never used the efx loop after the first week. I heard of people having the efx loop modified so that its more functional. The biggest problem I had was efx that were -10 seemed to attentuate the preamp too much and +4 was too much and any noise in whatever efx you had was amplified to the point of annoying. I just ended up micing the amp and having the efx handled by the PA. I have never trusted the Reissue terminology too much. Perhaps bying the original and havign it modded might be better. I guess you would have to compare 3 options instead of three. Good Luck.

Actually I was more interested in the sound of the amp. I don't use efx loops either really.
