importing audio in PT10

hello, i have protools 10 installed on my pc, win7 64 bit, i am trying to import audio , when i click on convert nothing happens, i have it set up on my lap top and it works fine, i have gone through setup w/ the hardware settings and the rest of that shit but am getting no response ... nada,
any suggestions will be greatly appreciated,

I fixed this problem, it seems that PT10 wants quicktime installed before it will import audio, but when use my 11 rack the new track turns off all my effects, any help with that?
