There are only 2 ways to bypass the word draw:
PROMOTION
PLANNING
Promote a show like a mother fucker to actually get a draw.
Plan the show with a bigger band that will bring some people and help you out.
I'm sick of hearing that word as well.

yeah, most people who book for venues are not very smart. if they were they'd just have regular days of the week for certain genres and events to draw in foot traffic, then they could base who they select to play, off of who actually has good music, rather than who draws a crowd.
