I want to rent an engineer on Long Island

I'm located on Long Island, near Smithtown

I'm going to start recording a new cd in July in my home studio. I'm looking for someone who can come to my house for a half day or so to help me get the most out of my gear. It would be great if you had some experience recording singer/songwriter-folk music. Obviously I'll be paying for the time.

I think the two things I could use the most help with are proper gain staging and mic placement.

If you think you can help, please respond either in this thread of via PM. Give me some idea about your experience, an hourly rate, and where you're located. I can be fairly flexible about days of the week and time of day but let me know what would work best for you there as well.
