I need Help !! Laptop Recording !!

Hi ! My recording chain is this-->
Triton studio spdif out------>E-MU1212M spdif input------>Cubase VST-->E-MU1212M--->Macky1604vlz--->PS8
My laptop is windows xp home edition, AMD athlon tm64 processor3000,1.8GHz, 512mb, ATI RADEON tm xpress200...

I recorded beats and bass and something. but my sound is so thin, its not wide, what will be bad ? I`m layering some sound then add the some tone.
But its like paper, its not wide and warmy.. I can not hear some sound out line and sound tail.. What wrong is this ? Can someone suggest any idea ?

I`ll post my sound later.. My sound is eastcost hiphop style.

And When I gave a gain of sound in editing it, why is it that a pop and a click noise enter ? Though I do not let a sound from input..

You're not giving enough information for anyone to answer. You need to post a clip at the very least. But to say that you recorded something that sounded thin is just not enough for anybody to work with. You might as well call your doctor and say, "Doc, I have a pain. What's wrong?"
