so what u guys think? is it any good, can i make use of it in any situation?

Marcos.

ps.: just for the record, i know it all seems dumb but IM A NEWBIE. id appreciate any help..

How long is the chord?
I was thinking you could put the headset around the door knob and then tie the end of the cable to something to hold a door open....

Just kidding, I'm not sure i've never seen/used that model. Probably a live microphone or an announcing microphone.

They're actually very different sounding;

The SM57 has a cardiod polar pattern and the Beta 57a is hypercardiod.
The SM57 uses a sound "element" that has been around for decades,
that has a "thick" sound .
The Beta 57a uses a newer type of element and sounds brighter than
the SM57.
The Beta 57a is "hotter" than the SM57, so it needs less pre amp gain
than the SM57. Keep in mind, however, that the SM57 was also designed for
LOUD sources, whether it's a guitar amp, drums, or hard rock vocals.

I use both!

Chris

P.S. I think the SM57 is easier for a newbie to use as the cardiod polar
pattern is more forgiving when you sing off-axis.
Sorry I'm not familiar with the WH10.
