I just bought my first microphone...

Question - can I plug it into a guitar amp and talk through that? Can I hook the microphone into a digital delay pedal and then into my amp or my computer without blowing things up or frying wires?

Delay on my voice would be fun.

PS - I bought a Shure SM57 to record guitar onto the computer for a project... this stuff is all new to me.

You're showing admirable restraint if you just bought your first ever mic and you're waiting for someone to respond before you try it out!

You won't hurt it plugging it into a guitar amp and you can also stick it into your delay pedal too. It's more traditionally used in the reverse direction however - pointed at the guitar amp...

Can't vouch for what it'll sound like, guitar amps and voices ain't necessarily a good match.
