How to use C1 shockmount???!!!

This may be a stupid question....

I have been thinking I am using the shockmount correctly until I came across this pic in SP homepage.

I have been using the shockmount the other way around(the mic holder is at the bottom part of the shockmount).... does it matter? should I use it as the pic above?

I dont see where it would make much difference as the shockmount is designed as just that, to keep your mic stable and isolated from a surface and hands that could potentially create noise.

This was done only for the picture so you could see that we were using the mics with the high end mic amps. That is not the correct way to use the clips.

Just be sure to keep the clip you squeeze to get the mic in on the bottom and slid the mic in so the Studio Projects is about the top round clamp.
