I was looking for a pre-amp with A/D with two XLRs with Phantom. The E-Mu (now part of Creative) seems to have the specs and I found this review which seems to show pretty good performance: http://external-audio-interface.e-m...x,idproduit,129511,mao,tracker_preusb_20.html
However, in the 24-bit@44khz test they got this result:
At 16-bit there wasn't a problem:
If I get the unit, how would I determine if the unit I get is ok?
