I think when after everyone has said their own opinions, the OP is further down the road.

Depends, is it a metric thread or and Imperial thread? Is it class A, B or C? Which tap are you using? A GH3? There are just to many factors to consider to answer this question.

If I bend over and my trousers don't split, I consider it some pretty nifty sewing.
