How can I record from stereo to computer

First check and be sure your recording software and soundcard have the capability to record in stereo. Then make sure your recorder is set to stereo line in. Hook the stereo to the computer with an adapter cable (probably 2 mono RCA jacks from the stereo's aux out to a 1/8 [or 3.5 mm if you prefer metric measurements] stereo jack to the line in on the soundcard.) These kind of cables are easy to find, the Radio Shack variety should work fine for this purpose. Once you get the songs recorded on wav files you can transfer them to your jukebox or media player for easy playback. Depending on your software, you could convert them to Mp3 files so they take less space, if you plan to burn them to CD keep them on wav. BTW the same process applies to cassette players in case you have some of those you want to copy on the PC.
